A new chapter for our French gem!

Ksenia Efremova is a legend of the Tim Essonne tournament. She participated twice, in 2022 and 2023, and won it both times. The former Russian, who became a French citizen in 2023, left nothing for her opponents during those two consecutive years.

At the end of 2025, after reaching the final of the W35 tournament in New Delhi, India, against world number 262, Sohyun Park , the Frenchwoman took another step in her career at the W35 tournament in Solapur, India, by defeating former world number 160, Indian Ankita Raina , in two sets (6-3, 6-3). Thanks to this victory, she climbed into the world's top 600 at just 16 years old.

Unfortunately, she then lost in the quarterfinals to the tournament winner, India's Vaidehi Chauhdari (ranked 485th in the world). Nevertheless, she had a great run and gave herself a wonderful holiday present for 2025 by reaching a world ranking of 575th.

At the start of 2026, she received a wild card to compete in the Australian Open qualifiers. Unfortunately, she lost her first qualifying match. At her age, she is already gaining valuable experience by participating in a Grand Slam tournament. This is just the beginning of what promises to be an exceptional career!
